This bar has a great vibe for a date, or just drinks with friends.
Its very cozy with exposed brick walls and lots of wood. It also has a great drink selection. The special cocktails are a lot of fun but the also have a great wine list and lots of good whiskey. The Bartenders are friendly and can usually help you out if can't pick a beverage. The regulars are generally very friendly and the place is not clique-y at all, so its okay to come alone, you'll usually end up spending the evening with people who you never met before, probably don't know each other but are very welcoming.
Pros: Great Cocktails, wine selection, Atmosphere
Cons: Small
Overall user rating: Highly Recommended
Cozy on Court Street
The bar is stocked with top notch booze without sticker shock prices. Owners hold fun events and are charitable, often donating money from events to various causes. This little tucked away bar is well stocked with amazing bourbons, some hard to find selections. Cocktails are creative and well crafted. It's cozy for a romantic get away, but friendly enough for a night out with friends or even by yourself to meet new friends.
Pros: intimate, bourbon, clean restroom
Cons: no signage outside
Overall user rating: Highly Recommended
Upscale Booze w/out Attitude
The Minibar is a great place to get a great drink. The owners/management specialize in high quality alcohol of all kinds: wine, beer, and spirits, particularly scotch and bourbon. The tight space ensures that you are never neglected for service and conversation abounds between patrons who probably would normally not talk to each other. Essentially, the Minibar feels more like a party in a friend's living room, except with professional service.

Great bar for good liquor & service
This tiny bar has only one drawback--a too-cute name. But don't let that stop you. Although just about everything on the shelf--wine, whisky, rum, beer, vodka--is a bit obscure, anything you pick will be so good you'll ask the bartender for a napkin so you can write down the name of what you just drank. Great bartenders and a nice atmosphere!
Pros: Selection of booze, Service, Atmosphere
Cons: Name is too cute

not just your neighbohood joint
Minibar, true to it's name is tiny. What it lacks in space it makes up for in style. Everything from the dark wood tones to the burgundy plush benches says relaxed and classy. The selection of wines, bourbons (their specialty), and mixed drinks is unrivaled in the area. It's intimate- a place where people can come and mingle as easily as they can enjoy a private conversation. All around a great place- get in early to get a seat!
Whether you’re part of the Frankies overflow or you jsut want an unpretentious neighborhood hangout(south of Fourth Place is refered to as SoFo), this cozy candlelit bar has an extensive Whiskey and Bourbon, at least 30 wines by the glass, a Girl Scout Martini and Pomegranate Margarita. Open Open until 2 a.m. weekdays, 4 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays. 482 Court St., between Luquer St. and Fourth Place.

A lot of personalities are packed into a square, brick Carroll Gardens space as diminutive as the name implies: low banquettes line one wall and high stools and tables take up another, while 20-year-old ports share the drink menu with kitschy Girl Scout martinis; still, the attitude is well-integrated, Brooklyn palsy-walsy.
